How does Satusteam™ work to control weeds?

Satusteam™ works by delivering pressurized water heated to 120°C, which is then applied to weeds at 40–60 psi (similar to the pressure of rain). This combination of high-temperature steam and boiling water causes the plant cells to burst on contact, effectively destroying the above-ground leaves and stems of weeds. Additionally, Satusteam™ penetrates into the meristematic growth points of weeds, eliminating or retarding their regrowth.
